Our Story

Our story begins in 1929 at the Pike Place Market in Seattle at the outset of the Great Depression. Way back then our business simply consisted of stuffing California dates with walnuts which were then rolled in powdered sugar. Over the years with dedication and lots of trial and error, we’ve developed recipes for really great caramels, nougats, truffles, creams and more. The result of three generations of effort spanning more than that for over eighty years now, our exceptional chocolates have been pleasing the palates of discriminating consumers like you.

Much has changed over the years except this one thing – our steadfast dedication to hand-crafting the finest chocolates to be found.

Today we are proud to present a line of exceptional sugar-free chocolates of such quality that you probably won’t even know they’re sugar-free unless someone told you so. As with everything we make, we use only the finest ingredients, carefully combined and crafted with care, to ensure that you enjoy a rich and sumptuous experience – even without the sugar.
